Il tema di questo concorso era una fobia a scelta, riprodotta sul cartellone di un ipotetico film. La mia scelta è caduta sulla Triscaidecafobia (paura del numero 13 e del suo utilizzo).
Cercai di realizzare un’immagine semplice ed efficace, dando uguale importanza al soggetto e ai titoli, tenendo presente un cartellone reale. Niente è stato aggiunto come elaborazione postuma, tutto il testo è testo 3D collocato su un piano di fronte alla telecamera.
Questo render vinse il concorso, lasciandomi, oltre ai premi, il compito di gestire il concorso successivo.
Theme of this contest was a choice phobia, rendered as an hypotetical movie poster. My choice was for Triskaidekaphobia (fear of number 13 and avoidance to use it).
I tried to make a simple and effective render, giving equal importance both to the subject and the credits, thinking to a real movie poster. A lot of jokes about #13 used as impact sentences. Nothing is added in postwork, all text is 3D text rendered in a plane in front of the camera.
This render won the contest, leaving to me the prizes and the duty to host the next one.
